Welcome to VA Hokies Sports Organization

VA Hokies Sports Organization Inc., incorporated September 7, 2011, but in existence since October 2005, is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization located in Prince William County, Virginia servicing the youth of Bristow, Gainesville, Haymarket, Manassas, Manassas Park, Nokesville and Woodbridge as well as other surrounding communities. Our primary focus will be to reach youth with instructional and developmental aspects of basketball for student athletes competing at local, state, national AAU/YBOA and invitational tournaments. We also place emphasis on hard work within the team concept coupled with excellence in the classroom.

Through various programs VA Hokies Sports Organization, Inc. has five goals:

• To provide professional instructions regardless of race, color, creed or native origins
• To practice superb sportsmanship and exhibit good values on and off courts and fields
• To help educate young people about life skills including setting and achieving goals
• To mentor all players and give support whenever needed
• To coach the fundamentals of basketball to improve individual confidence on and off courts and fields

We will also arrange competitive leagues and tournaments to allow other local teams to develop their players by competing against the very best players in the region. Which in turn will help to lower cost to our member families and help keep players playing and developing.
